We sorta feel we've outdone ourselves - this one has it all!

From beginner's HTML to sophisticated Tables, Forms, Frames, Graphics How-To, and Javascript tricks, there's enough here to help get you on the Internet in fine form, and to give you a great head start in gaining all-round competence. It's all written in our typical personable, in-depth style of explanation to help make the hard stuff easier to understand, apply, and modify for your unique pages. The focus is on enablement, not hand-holding. Excellent links plus a multi-engine Internet search. The automated color chart is included. (Naturally, the success and appearance of your pages will depend on your own imagination and hard work in applying the information offered.)

Frames
We'll try to make you an expert. Concepts are explored in detail, and there are nine formatted samples with discussion and suggestions, as well as instructions for accurate navigation and control of content.

Javascript
All the ideas you need to create countless user-friendly interactions, and copious examples with in-depth explanations of how they work. This isn't a Javascript instruction book (though we point you to a good one) but study and imagination will enable you to modify our examples to suit nearly every need including standard conventions, hidden script files, image swaps, dropdowns, event handlers, popups, messages, and more. Tricks for mousepointer response, page swaps, image changes in multiple locales, imagemap tricks, onClick events, page load response, etc. Six separate instruction pages, and seven illustration pages.

Graphics
Typically, our approach isn't to give you thousands of graphics, but to teach you how to evaluate and manage your own for greatest effect on the web page. (But there are over 500 unique images, many usable as-is, and many more as base images for making your own custom graphics.) Links to outstanding graphics sites and multi-engine search. Detailed instructions and examples for making buttons, ovals, dots, bars, backgrounds, filled text, and special effects all based on applying affordable software. Managing scans and other images. It is not a treatise on creating original art - we're not artists - but if you've talent, the tips and methods will help you get off to a faster start. Thirteen instruction pages plus examples.

Forms
Complete forms explanation and examples, including dropdowns, page changes, Javascript event response, alternate buttons, etc.

Software
A major "freebie" timesaver is in the works! We've acquired permissions to include makers' latest demo versions of our favorite working software, including Edit Pad, Go!Zilla, PowerDesk and Xara3D - permissions are pending for PaintShop Pro and PhotoImpact. All are full-version, though most are time-limited for evaluation (if you want to keep them, it's a simple matter of ordering online then entering a registration code.) The nice thing about this is that there are over 40mb of topnotch and usable programs that you won't have to spend time in downloading. Just install them and get going on the Tutorials!

Format:
The CD is in HMTL format so that you may access the entire content offline with your browser. To start, simply insert the CD in your CD-ROM drive, then click Windows' lower task bar Start_Run, and enter "X:/intro.htm", where "X" is the CD-ROM drive name (usually D:/), and click <Enter>. Your browser will automatically open to the CD index page. You may also create a desktop icon from FileManager to gain one-click access after inserting the CD.

To utilize Internet links, just activate your modem connection and click away!

Ordering Info
We can't predict response, so CDs will be "burned" as orders are received. Allow 7-10 days from order date for us to get yours out the door. Credit card charges will not be submitted, nor will checks be cashed, until your CD is actually ready to ship. You may order online via credit card with our Secure Online Order Form *, or fill in the online order form and just print and mail along with payment in the form of authorized credit card number, personal check, certified check, or money order (no stamps, please.) Personal checks will require two additional weeks to allow for confirmation of clearance. The Order Form allows choice of standard First Class or Priority Mail shipment for both U.S. and global destinations.
